No more stock chassis for me. I went all the way with the Hardcore Titanium one. Luckily, my LHS guy was having a 30% off sale on all Hardcore stuff, so I got it. I will give blazer credit though. With any break, I do some investigation, (so as not to repeat the break again). And along with a bent shock shaft that didn't allow for any compression on the landing, I think I may have had some loose screws. So, would I have ripped it even with a good shock and tight screws ? Unknown. The thing with aluminum is it has bad memory. It doesn't like to bend back the way it was and maybe it wasn't just one bad landing that did mine in, but many.
