LOL>. I've got a chassis that looks exactly like that ... :) Have ran into two other cases at the track as well.. I was cracking up when I read Blazers post the other day about the extra chassis AND RIPPING being such an impossibility.. I had just got through ordering one from ebay!! :) check ebay out.. almost always have them.. Peace

No more stock chassis for me. I went all the way with the Hardcore Titanium one. Luckily, my LHS guy was having a 30% off sale on all Hardcore stuff, so I got it. I will give blazer credit though. With any break, I do some investigation, (so as not to repeat the break again). And along with a bent shock shaft that didn't allow for any compression on the landing, I think I may have had some loose screws. So, would I have ripped it even with a good shock and tight screws ? Unknown. The thing with aluminum is it has bad memory. It doesn't like to bend back the way it was and maybe it wasn't just one bad landing that did mine in, but many.

Can you get the weight of the stock chassis and the weight of the hardcore racing chassis if it isn't installed yet??

loose screws did it. you got to remember with a buggy to check it a lot. I know it's hard to stop having fun for 5 minute to check screws but its just part of it. A nitro engine will vibrate anything loose along with impacts from jumping. What's your mailing address as I talked the poop so I'll send it to you.

I just find it hard to beleive because we got about 8 guys running Storms besides me up here plus 2 of mine and we have yet to rip a chassis hole out. DO SOME MAINTIANENCE!!! CHECK YOUR FRICKING SCREWS!

Keep your chassis blazer, it's all good. This Ti one I have is sweet.
I just finished putting everything back on her for this weekend. There's not much stock left on it, Ti chassis, shock towers, RB Concept engine, and the new Mugen shocks (them babies is sick!)
You can make it up to me and check out my thread on my mystery set screw adjustment. Give me your spin on what they are for and how to properly set them.

They adjust suspension arm droop and/or ride hight.

That chassis made a Screw checker out of me... does anyone use anything for metal screws in the plastic? locktite? anything? or is checking often the only hope?

I've heard that people use a small amount of super-glue on metal-to-plastic connections. Haven't tried it myself but I guess it works.

Agree with using CA on plastic. I believe that it says on the tube of Locite that it's NOT for use on plastics. I'll have to double check on that one.

thanks for the tip.. the glue seemed to work well.... I think not checking the screws often enough as Blazer so gently :) pointed out allowed the holes to get a little sloppy, not stripped just sloppy.. screws wouldnt stay tight without the glue.. thanks again all.. Peace!

One more thing I wanna mention.. I dont think the B01 engine gets the hype it deserves.. We have a hyper 8 port, we have a o.s. rg, and neither one have all that much on this B01.. this really is a kick ass engine in my opinion..

Agree, not bad for a stocker. GS is working on a race breed engine also. Can't wait to see how it hangs with some of the big dogs.

you might want to check out HobbyTown's web site.. the are advertizing a R21PB .21 EXH BUGGY ENGINE from GS for $270.00 I wonder if this is it??? Site shows that it's in stock.. Damn I was hoping it would be a little cheaper.. at that price I'd probably just go with the O.S. RZ

Since I bent up my stock shock towers so easily at the East Coast Bash, I've ordered a set from Dynamite. Anyone else running these? If they don't hold up I might be forced to save the $$ for the Hardcore stuff.

my friend is using them and they work great. He split his wing mount in half and didn't bend the towers.

Darth you bent the shock towers that easy? I didn't see you take but a handfull of jumps before the pull start crapped out on you.

Yeah theres a good reason why they tell you not to use loctite on plastics. Once I left my loctite bottle on a cd case (clear plastic) and somehow a bit dripped out onto the case. I couldn't be stuffed cleaning it, and after a week or two it looked like a science experiment. The loctite had DISSOLVED the area where it had spilt and there was a gaping hole... and all around the edges the plastic was more like rubbery goo.

I'm sure RC plastics are a little more resistant, but you can see why you shouldn't.

You didn't see how many times I landed it on it's lid or on 1 arm.
The stock towers are 6065 3mm, so they needed to be upgraded.
