Granite 4x4 BLX or Proline MT4x4

I have a Senton BLX 3S and a Proline MT 4x4, if you want to bash it out of the box go for the Granite. The PLMT will require further upgrades to get it to a point where stuff don't break every battery pack but once you sort out a PLMT it is on another level versus the composite trucks from ARRMA. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thankyou for that.

I got hold of the Granite in the end for now. Not managed to test it out fully yet but certainly took a good beating today on 2s at the skatepark until my mate and his boy took it for a couple large nosedives and broke the front A - Arm.. Can't blame the truck for that mind, and was very impressed otherwise. Would have had it on 3s later if it weren't for others... :-(..

Hey up folks...

Currently got a heavily modded outcast and a long shocked Talion I'm still fixing.... The boy has a granite mega 2wd also which has proved amusing but not without issues..

I'd like to get something 1/10th ish scale and am debating between the new Granite BLX and PLMT4x4. And yes I know we're on an Arrma forum!.. Basically I'm after a best durability and handling combo. It will mostly be skatepark use with the usual flips etc, but want it to handle on the dirt also. By handle I mean having good natural geometry to start with.

The Granite looks good and has low weight on it's side. The MT looks good also but is heavier but more stout.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of both?.

Thanks
I have a Granite Mega 4x4 and on the second run the steering servo started clicking and quit working so I got a metal gear servo and it has not had any problems since. I still want to get the Granite 4x4 blx because my Granite Mega 4x4 does not provide enough power. I am still new to Arrma and Rc I am still trying to master jumps and stuff.

Hostile Lynx: Our motor quit quite swiftly in the Mega 2wd we have but servo has survived.

Re power, I assume you use Lipo batteries and have tried a larger pinion on the motor? If not try that first.

I have no experience of the mega 4x4, only the 2wd and now a short stint on the 4x4 BLX on 2S only. Even on the 2S with standard everything it was considerably faster than the 2wd Mega and I could pull rotations in the air - just I had to think about them a bit more having come from my 6s Outcast.

Have fun!..
