shhhhh..but dont tell him..lol.

Man I'm not sure he suspects it or not...but i went and picked it up from my LHS friday...along with a full set of blue RPM arms.
Its going to be a great step up for him from his .15 pro TMAXX, but hes head over heels in the R/C stuff and I'm trying to keep him hooked..this might do it...hehehe.

My parents bought him one of those Crawlers from wally world that a few guys on here have been talking about..best of both worlds..bashing and crawling..I'm jealous already.

That night i got it out of the box and checked it out...man i can't wait for him to run it.....heck I'm just as excited you'd think i was getting it..lol.

Oh well just thought i'd let ya guys in on the secret.......but dont tell til X-mas though.

Scott

Thats what i said when i took it at of the box the look at it..."damn hes a lucky kid"...hell my parents would of never spent $500+ total on gifts, let alone ONE gift..geez!

Hes treated his Maxx very well and taken care of it very very well..of course hes had some mishaps, but hey thats life...i bought him a few hop ups for it this past year like blue RPM arms, bumpers, shocktowers, ect and its still running strong and he uses his skateboard ramps and gets some big air with it......can't wait to see how he does with the REVO.

Scott

dad i want 1 too lol
luck young man you got there ,and since he respects the maxx he will the revo as well .your son with be a very happy young man come christmas morning ,

Looking to adopt a 32 year old Italian kid? Nice dad you are! I'm working hard trying to get Santa to bring me an LSP but I'm not getting anywhere fast. BTW, I love my blue RPM arms and oversized axle carriers!

Thanks guys,
I do try to spoil my boys, BUT i want them to respect and learn the value of a dollar....but it is OK to have some good clean/dirty fun once in awhile after work is done and bills are paid, hell i blew $500+ on my CEN Genisis LE just a short time ago....lol....so i just had to get my son Tyler a new bashing toy as well...my Son Christopher is pretty happy with his EMaxx and skateboards. Maybe in a year or two i can get him onto the Nitro kick too?

Holiday wishes to ya all...the count down to X-mas day is getting shorter.

Scott

-peace out

p.s. yeah post a vid where he's opening that revo.
p.s.#2 this makes me cry since when i got my first r/c i was so exited,it just gives me that feeling i can't explain.

I am available for adoption as of now...I have my wish list ready for you.

So... did he find it yet? I mean a 2 foot by 2 foot by 3 foot box is kind of obvious...
Or did you "take it out of the box" to not give him any clues?

Oh NO......its hidden in my closet in my "fishing/hunting/RC/computer" room.
He can't get into it because its KEY LOCKED...lol...so hes SOL if he goes looking for it.

It will not be put under the tree until they go to bed x-mas night....if not he WILL shake it, smell it.....try peeking under the paper..anything you can think of...heck i did as a kid too.

He asked me the other day, .."wonder when some gifts will start to appear under the tree?" I said, well depends on how your grades are and how good you've been this year...lol...ya got to understand hes 12 yrs. old and not a child, pretty damn sharp for his age too...he walks away and says..."man x-mas is going to suck big-time this year then"......LMAO...i couldnt help but bust out laughing.
He gets "passing" grades and does behave well, but does get in trouble here and there like all kids do....but he does remind me of my self all to well...poor kid..geez!

Scott

hahahaha sounds like a good kid, he'll be one bappy camper when he opens up the revo box .. hell i know i would.

Good job on getting the Revo for your kid. The fact that you get excited about getting such a cool gift for him, and participate in his hobby with him is something that he will remember forever.

Well what did your kid think when he opened up his present? I would say the look was priceless , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
