Got my 777

Well, finally got my 777 from www.rc-mushroom.com and it didnt take long to get it here.. Ordered it on Thursday, got it here last wednesday.. very fast shipping..

Anyway.. i ordered the kit, not the special 1.. and for $265 less than the special 1, i am very pleased.. did i say.. i am very pleased.. i meant super pleased.. it has everything.. all the blue.. and stuff.. and i didnt see 265 bux worth of nessessary hopups.. so.. i bought the regular kit.. got some new shock towers from www.kingheadz.com got some cradock brakes.. will be getting chassis braces from kingheadz..

It has the ball bearing steering.. everything that the special 1 came with.. except for certain things.. like anodized chassis, universals in center and front, or the pretty blue radio tray post or wing mounts.. and stuff like that.. which i dont see as nessacary.. So.. i got the kit.. and saved 265, i will take that 265, and upgrade the one i got for less.. and get the parts that are needed.. like shock towers and stuff.. i will post pics later on tonight..

oh.. and one more thing.. i will be upgrading the shock bodies as well.. the special has the teflon coated shock bodies..

Congrats on your new trip7. You wont be disappointed! I sold my KII for mine and I love it. Post some picts when your done. What color was your rims and spoiler and what engine are going to run?
Keep me posted on any good links you have for upgrades and spare parts because they are hard to find right now and I am sure it wont be long before I break something.

Well,
NitroMarine has one and from what we can tell: 1. it came with a chassis that was not milled out 2. it had upgraded shocks (always a plus) 3. the arms on the front were redesigned and looked to be beefier 4. the cog was lower hence the redesigned body 5. the wing and tires that came with the special were butt ass ugly (that's why NitroMarine went with the blue scheme) other than that not to much. Did I mention being in Japan, he got about $200 something dollars off. O.K., so theres my .02!!

the car is very nice.. handles great.. however.. handles totally different than my 7.5. Tons more steering.. i have to relearn how to drive.. not really.. jsut with all that steering.. i am turning too early.. and over steering alot.. other than that.. the car flies great.. handles great.... whoop section.. what whoop section.. i really like the car.. just gotta find the right setup.. the 7.5 setup dont work..
