hey guys i bought a savage from a Friend for £60

Its the .21 savage

it came with 2.4GHz radio gear

now as i did not have a roto start i had to use a hex key to start the engine but it runs so I'm happy about that,
its fitted with a thunder tiger Pro .21 with there roto start back plate

also i have to replace the rear bulk heads ( already ordered the parts £8.40 )

at this point i have not checked the servos but i can get some 9-11KG MG995 servos for £10 for two if the currently fitted ones dont work,

now i would like to know what would be some good things to get for it, i will post some pics later

I'd say some RPM arms would be a good upgrade if they're available there.

Go out and beat on it. That will tell you what needs upgraded. :)

Congrats on your new ride! I agree with BillyC74...give it a few shake-down runs and then figure what you'll need (if anything). The only thing that I've broken on mine is a tie rod end, and I lost a rear suspension shaft. Other than that the OWB is starting to slip, but this seems common (at least on the F4.6)

sorry no pics yet been busy,

well so far i have replaced the rear bulkhead and modified it slightly so i can start the engine with the hex key, replaced the snapped wheel hex,

i am thinking of converting it to 17mm and changing the two counter clockwise axles with standard ones ( sourcing 2 new counter clockwise nuts is hard some places wanting £10 for them )

i have also been thinking of changing the cassis to a savage X or XL

here is the modified bulkhead filed out the aluminum and plastic

in these two images you can see were the original owner cut the skid plates and removed the rear bumper :\
