Good afternoon to all-
Well, Fellers, I bought me another little airplane. I got a Eflite Turbo Timber Evolution STOL plane. This little plane has proven to be more fun than the law should allow. Once I got the flaps figured out on the controller, it has been a snap to fly, and it does some things no other of my flock of foam planes can do.
Like what? you might ask. Well, with its big old soft tires, it will land and take off in some pretty rough grass. smooth dirt is a snap, and on paved landing and take-off areas, it will make anyone, even me, look like I know what I'm doing. For those who like very slow, very low flying, this plane is perfect- it will glide without power for a LLLOOOONNNGGG way, and with a little back elevator on landing will roll to a stop on some rough stuff. And it has floats to make it into a water take off/landing plane, too.
And while it does fly slowly very well, it has an abundance of power and will do all of the gyrations, twists, turns, flips, rolls than anyone, at least for me, anyway, could want.
My opinion about the Turbo Timber Evolution? A great little plane, and not too costly at all, or I wouldn't have it.
Lord, this RC airplane thing just gets ahold of a feller, and it won't let go...
you all be safe and keep well- Ed
