Error, with this puzzled look on his face when he looks at my storm head. ***note: look who's on the TV in the BG***

I was trying to see what mill was on that Storm, but all I could see was zip ties.

How many zipties did you manage to fit on that heatsink?

That looks like Stargate on the TV. Good series. :)

If there was an earthquake we would be digging Error out form under 14 feet of RC rubble toped with a helicopter. We would need to bring a lap counter with us in hopes he had the foresight to put his personal transponder in his pocket.

MY GOD MAN! I thought I had a lot of RC crap. Your my Hero!

Gotta remember he has El Pirata as a guest...that includes all of his new RCs.

Relatively speaking, that pic has less than 1% of all the total R/C stuff in my house. The Storm is EP's, I was just wrenching on it. We took some video of my partially completed Tamiya 1/16th R/C tank, a short flight with the micro heli, and some other pics of the shop. And I haven't seen my workbench top in like forever (a la too many parts).

Yes, that was Stargate SG1 on the tube (one of like 2 shows I watch). We'll be posting pics of the collection before the weekend is up.

Car tally:
2 GS Storm (EP and John)
1 Kyosho Inferno 7.5 (EP)
1 Kyosho Kanai 1 (EP)
2 Kyosho Kanai 3 (EP and me)
2 T-Maxx's (EP, to be shipped to Joner4U)
1 Savage (me, in pieces)
1 Mini-T (me)
maybe another one, but I can't remember.

Yall should see all the batteries on charge too. Wall warts galore! The only real problem we have at the moment is that it's raining today.

Not to steal the thread but, why do people put zip ties on the head?? What do they do?

To be cool....

Sorry, that was Error's first thought when I told him about your question...

I have them there to keep from beating the heat sink to pieces from some not so soft landings.

Real cheap skid plate for the top of the heat sink. And EP isn't kidding about the not so soft landings. You should see him fly...

Don't say that ever again! I almost had a heart attack from laughing so hard.

As a faint voice from the pits screams "RUBBER SIDE DOWN BRO!"

thats a good idea. You should make something up like that and patent it. Seriously. On my car the top of the sink was thrashed, so I wet sanded it, and buffed the hell out of it so it looks chrome now. Maybe Ill have to steal your idea now and put some on :D

The idea isn't his to be stolen. As for its origin, lets just say it has been around for a bit.

Actually they do make protective tops for some engines but you pay like $5 or more for the real protector and I buy 500 zip ties for the same price and I can replace them as I go.

may i ask why you always have the closed captioning on your tv error? zip ties are everywhere!!
