I would like to paint all the chrome parts black. Is it better to remove the chrome first if so how?

It's way too clean for a scaler. :eek:WHAT? Who said that?

Spray Plasti-Dip is the perfect paint for the fenders and the flat black. Just a good scuffing with steel wool or a Brillo pad is all you need. Trying to remove the chrome will damage some of the plastic.

They are always clean on the production line. I'm sure once it get out in the battle field the will be some dirt, mud and blood on it.

Thanks for the tips.

So I'm nearly finished.

Looks great! You will soon find out that scaleing is very addictive.

All you need is a mirror ball hanging from the rear view mirror to make it a Land Rover Disco...
