Got a couple questions on a buggy?

I'm trying to decide on which buggy to get and I've narrowed it down to the Ofna PCR and the Kyosho Inferno MP7.5(not kanai).I'm really leaning towards the MP7.5 though simply because I like it and theirs lots of parts available for it.My question is what is the difference between the 7.5 kit and the 7.5 Sport?The Sport comes with an engine but it's 60$ cheaper than the kit which has no engine?Is their any other difference between the two that i'm missing and is this a good buggy for hard bashing?

ask Christian the exact details, as he has the regular version and can tell u. From what i know, the sport version has a plastic spur gear, a shorter chassis with no kick up, lower quality nuts and bolts, doesn't have the hardened diffs, and the shock towers, ect are made from 6061 not 7075

Perhaps you should consider the Thunder Tiger EB4 S2 rtr version. I own one and its durable, good engine, good basher etc. I have never owned the Kyosho but I'm told that it is inferior to the Eb4 rtr and i think may even be cheaper, see for yourself --> https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=11369

All you need are some new shocks and the thing is ready for bashing .

Rex, I don't know if you've made your decision or not, but me and another member (HarryNuts) just ordered the PCR, and we should both get our mid-end of next week. We'll let you know how we like them.
RC Driver just did an article on the PBS, which is the PCR minus the laydown servo setup. They said that the PCR handled and jumped great, and was very durable. Only problems were that the pipe isn't flanged and falls out of the coupler easily, and the batteries weren't secured properly (which is an easy fix).

If you're interested in the PCR, AceHardwareHobbies.com has it selling for $440, which is a great price, but they also charge you $20 to ship. So $460 to your door is still a good price, as you don't pay sales tax either.

I won't be buying one for a few months yet so I'm still researching on them.It will be my first buggy so i'm doing my homework on this one.I plan on doing some racing so I would like to get something good for that.Preferably a kit so I can pick the engine and radio gear.I really like the PCR though and the fact that it comes with an 8 port.More than likely that 8 port will be used as a backup for my Savage but its always nice to have another one LOL.My buddy had an Ofna LX pro and we beat this $h#@ out of it bashing and it never broke anything but a shock tower.I know the Lx pro isn't a race quality buggy but that thing was durable!

I'm kinda liking the EB4 S2 pro now too and I've read a little more on the Mugen MBX5 and I like it too. Decisions,Decisions LOL!!

the mugen is also a great buggy. I have the EB4-S2 Limited Edition - same as the pro almost - and just love it. check out the winter bash thread in general chaos for some great pics!!!!
