i need some input guys... So i bash alot and need some reliable shocks. i was going to go with the proline because i race some and i have heard they are good for bashing and especially good for racing. i have also heard some good things about the powerline threaded. i have been running the 4 shock set-up but i want to go with eight. your guys' input would be greatly appreciated!!

the proline powerstrock shocks are great for bashing and racing. But I have heard good things about traxxas bigboars

I bash alot, and quickly broke numerous shocks that came stock on the maxx. I went with the traxxas big bores. Havent had any problems yet, and have had them for about a year. I upgraded the springs to rc raven dual rate springs, just to make it a bit stiffer and bottom out less. I'm running 8 shocks. I have no complaints about this setup and would recommend it alot. It works perfect for me! Hope that helps you make a decision!

i also run the traxxas big bore and i have no cpmplaints. I run them with trinity dark blue springs which are real stiff and i have no problems with bottoming out anymore. would reccomend big bores.

I have been running the Losi/Dynamite shocks with trinity blue springs, rpm dual stage pistons, and I love these shocks. I have beat the crap out of them for a long time now and have not had a single problem with them.

are they the same as the 1/10 scale buggy shocks for the losi?
or the threaded ones?
the RPM piston heads made a HUGE difference in mine.....
anyone know if they make RPM piston heads for 1/8 scale shocks?

Unlimited engineering 1/8 buggy shocks. (OFNA 9.5 rear shocks I think). I ran 4 on my 21 maxx and beat the crap out of it without any shock problems. I have since sold the maxx, but kept the shocks and am now running the 4 on my savage with NewEra upper arms. I've been running the same set of 4 shocks for 6 gallons of abuse and they are still fine.
