whats a good fuel resistant and durable spray paint that i can go pick up at my local HW store i dont eel like air bruching this body i just want it a abasic color and I'm justpaintin over a existing coat

there seems to be a problem or your not telling it all you can't paint over a already painted body + all of the paints at your local hardware store would crack when you hit the smallest bump from the body bending

if you want it to look ok then get some denatured alcohol at ur hardware store and take the old paint off thenuse the r/c paint should give good results

Ok here is a very dumb comment, again. If you don't care about looks why are you painting it? You actually wanted to sand the inside down to get the paint off? Are you joking?

trust what we say its only from experience or at least i have experienced it

no i wasn't thinkin of sanding the paint off i was talking about scuffig up the surface of the previous ct the the spray paint will stick better and the only reason i want to give it some touch up paint is because i just bougt it used and some of the paint the origanal user had on it has peeled of in a bunch of placs and yo can see throught the body so I'm just painting it so it just has a consistant color (silver)

try the Krylon Fusion.. its suppose to bond with plastic. i have taken paint off a old body before.. using a little R/C fuel and this stuff called Oops and a mixture of other stuff... lol.

later

You could use Krylon ultra flat black spray paint. It adheres very well to the lexan, and remains flexable when its dry. I used it on a hummer body my brother in law really messed up, it worked great. I have torn hunks of lexan of the back of the truck, but the paint has not chipped off at all. Here's a pic of it...

ya i have a can of krylon that i used on one of my ST bodies but i found out that it didn mix well with fuel cause when fuel got on it it just broke the paint down so it was stickyand i was able to wipe it off ill see what my lhs has tomarra

i picked up some pactra racing finish indy silver in a spay can and worked really well and dried fast. It was only 4bux for the can so I'm happy
