I need help finding a good buggy for around $350 please post links or w/e. thanks in advance

Frank

Sup, the cheapest one I`ve seen is the swift and it sounds like a good buggy! At my lhs it`s 389.99 just the steering servo and change the pull start to a box start but you can wait for that or you can try finding a roto start.

Storm is good. Great radio. Good engine. Tons of hopups.

This has been discussed very recently here, look around you'll find all the information you could possibly need.

I very much agree with Cbreaker I totally forgot about the gs storm thats the way to go best rtr on the market at a reasonable price. The swift was cheapelly made it was just a thought.

eBay =)

I got mine shipped to my door for $355. brand new.

My friend paid slightly more for his ($370) but his is the newer "2003" model, mine was an older model, although never used.

Remember that there's a lot of little extras no matter what one you get. Figure that you'll have to spend another $200 for the required gear, batteries, chargers, fail safe, new shock towers, various fluids..

I say Shock Towers because the Storm RTR's towers are severly weak. They will bend on you just from driving the thing. Replacements aren't very expensive.

Overall it's pretty tough to beat the Storm RTR in terms of value!

THe xterminator is like the Mammoth. It has many weak spots. The shock towers are easily bendable as with the chassis. Actually the Pro is good but the 100+ dallar difference is too much for me. I prefer to look at an Ofna or a kyosho.

Alright thanks a lot guys i think i am going to look around for the GS Storm or i might save a little more money and buy myself the OFNA Hyper 7 PCR.

Frank:D

whats the difference between the ofna hyper 7 pcr and pbs????

Frank

i have the XTM xterminator there is some videos of it on here waste land posted them but anyway the xterminator deluxe is a good buggy strong engine verry fast the only problem i had was breaking diff cases but that was easily fixed with some 1/4" aluminium

So the lay down servos are the only difference? And the pcr is a little wider right???

Frank

hey earlier in this thread it was mentioned that there was tons of hop ups for the gs storm. what are they and where can i get them.

The PCR is not wider. It's the same buggy as the PBS, just with laydown servos, a pullstart AND the starter box, and the special edition body.
It's a kickass buggy....very quick and extremely durable. Ofna's biggest downfall are the radio systems they use. They're reliable, but VERY basic. You'll at least need to get a new steering servo, the rest will work fine.

Alright thanks a lot I'm not sure wut my decision will be yet.

Any oppions on either buggy??
