what voltage are you running it at? its good from 5 v to 7.4( thats a 2 cell lipo for some) you have a guarantee with amazon.
Operating voltage range: 5-7.4V Operating speed (at no load) : 0.13 sec/60 degree @5.0V
Operating speed (at no load): 0.12 sec/60 degree @6.0V
Operating speed (at no load): 0.11 sec/60 degree @ 7.4V
Stall torque (at locked): 29kg/cm @5.0V

Using 3s and 4s lipos. Esc is a hobbywing 8bl150, not sure what the voltage is at the reciever, but the bec is 6 volts
 
Yeah, those cheapo servos are hit and miss and even the hit ones are nowhere near their specifications.

I had a "35kg" similar to yours, weaker and slower than a 24kg Hitec. Also, VERY not waterproof.

By the way, you really don't need it to turn the wheels at a standstill. Especially on a grippy surface.

Problem is the turning radius is huge in grass because it dosnt have the strength to hold at full lock
