Ok guys update got filter situation taken care of I think lol! Anyhow here's some pics with it installed in my old school 2.5 Revo. I borrowed my buddies Trinity pipe for the break in. I will switch over to the Traxxas resonator pipe eventually to get a direct swap comparison to the 3.3. Kind of crazy I had gear mesh issues with this engine. Considering I was running a Picco .21 in it before. You have to play around with your throttle linkages a lot also with the Go engine. I can tell my poor revo has been sitting way to much. I had to replace both the steering servo's and replace the stick pack.

Yah it has an all aluminum barb which I really like Hotrod. Chickenman I ended up getting an Hpi filter with pre filter for an .12-.18 engines. The carb on this one is the same as a buddies Mini mgt I have been working on which runs a .18.

To answer your question Hot rod nope sorry dude. I have already tried LOL! Plus this carb just seems kind of small for a .20 engine.

Hey man glad to hear you weren't near that oil tanker that exploded out your way

I heard about some sort of raw oil container, not exactly sure if it was one of the ones on a train or what......now I remember!
It was a train derailment last week man

Okay guys got a little time plus some decently warm temps here, decided to start break in on the go engine. For starters the needle settings were way to lean. Not sure if it was because I started with the Trinity pipe or not. Once I got the settings right she idled it's way through the first tank nicely. Started my quarter throttle runs on the second tank and it seems really responsive and peppy even at just slight throttle. I have some short boring vids of the idle tank I'll post up soon. Hope if the temps and weather cooperate this week I may have it broke in mostly by weekend for some full throttle runs with some good vids.

Nice bro!..hope the weather stays on your side,..there's still 2 feet of ice on the lakes and rivers here

We had 14 inch's of snow here last Thursday, now 65-70 degree days weekend crazy stuff. Anyhow I also hope it stays.

sounds like its coming together mate ,looking at a revo tonight that would be perfect for this engine

Well tank 4 now. I have started to lean it up just a tad like it says in the manual for break in. Starting to come alive some now. Most definitely has a nice high Rpm range. The throttle response is a lot better than the Traxxas but that's my opinion and yes I am comparing them both running same clutch. Also the Integy clutch is working great on this engine.

I just give an honest opinion on the equipment I am using. There's no since in condemning a company's entire lineup of parts just because some of it is crap. So far I have ran there clutch's on my Lrp.32 my Lrp.30X, two 3.3 engines, Picco .21 maxx and this GO engine, all with several gallons no issue. When you factor in the price there one of the best clutchs for the price. FYI there 17mm splines hex hubs are nice quality also!
