GM and Segway come up with something for the rich

Neat little gadget here but my opinion is pretty much expressed in the title. Nothing wrong with being rich but I am sure these things, when they come out in the market, won't be affordable for the average Joe.

That will NOT be cheap, since just the Segway, right now, is over 6 grand. It's a computerized system that keeps it balanced.

Ummm...wasn't the Segway the invention that was supposed to revolutionize travel as we know it? So how many people do you know that have one? I know a total of none. Sure, it's a cute gadget. And Mall Cops love them. But feasible transportation? Nope. Until someone comes up with an electric vehicle that is affordable, reliable and has a range greater than a 2 hour drive, they won't push more than a handful.
