Hey guys i just bought a glow starter that needs to be charged by the wall and i was wondering how long does it take for a 110-120v 60hz charger to charge the glow starter and how long does it last when fully charged.

I would charge it for about 15 hours (that's what my instructions say).

Usage time will vary depending on how often you use it and how long it sits. Hard to say. I got tired of the guessing game with mine and went with a D cell igniter.

A D cell igniter is just that. You screw off the cap and install a regular D cell battery from Duracell, ect. I take my battery out after I am done bashing so it doesn't discharge. Either is good but I have too many chargers as it is so not having a rechargeable glow igniter is one less brick on my power strip.

It is more a matter of taste and convience IMO.

RCA is correct, about 12-15 hours should do it. I have a few rechargables but have thought about picking up one of those D cell igniters for a while just as a back up. I hate when I get the urge to burn a little nitro but my igniter is not charged.

i have 3 rechargable ones it will last a couple days. but i always plug mine in at night to make sure it is charged
