hey, i wanna get a new glow plug for my engine, but it's my first time actually buying a new one... can anyone tell me of the difference between very cold, cold, and hot glow plugs etc? i dont understand the difference between these and I would like to know what to get.

ok.. that article gives me a lot of info i didn't know before.. thanks a lot for the link :-) but thing is, it doesn't tell me whether I can put a standard glow plug in an engine that is designed for turbo ones, or vice versa... can someone enlighten me on this too? thanks

No. You can only use standard plugs with engines that take them and only use turbo plugs for engines that take that style plug. The threaded portion of the plug has a different shape.

ok thanks a lot... i just wanted to know cuz i heard that turbo engine heads were a real pain in the ass to keep running, but standard heads were a little more stable...
