Glow Plugs

I dont think you can put the monster gt engine in the t-maxx, even with the .21 conversion... i thought their engine mounting things were different or something, thats why you have to get a new mount to mount after market engines on the monster gt??

What are the best glow plugs??
I really like the dynamite/mccoy plugs, but they can sometimes be a pain to start.
The traxxas hot plugs are the easiest to start in my opinion, but they burn out too quick.
I was thinking about going down the OS 8 road, but i don't know alot about them.

My engines :
mach .15 in the xxxnt
2.5 in the tmaxx
soon to be monster gt TT.21 engine

I want a plug that I can use in ALL engines.. ( i hate keeping up with different this, and different that)
Any recommends/suggestions??

If you want to run the same type plugs in all of your engines, then you need to install the same type heads on all of your engines to allow for the same plug. Read the info from the link Rolex posted above (page1).

I always thought the engine's timimng was the deciding factor in the type of plug used.......I just use what my LHS suggests...every time I try a different plug someone else recommends I have "issues"...I use OS#8 in my RG.....Dynamite#7 in my Fantom and Q plugs in my Stock maxx engines....I forget what to use in the P2 cause I haven't used it in months...

Yea I've never had a plug that has lasted longer than a gallon and i tend to run 15 per.
