How tight? I stripped out the head button on my Force .32, and now I'm getting a Losi 454 to replace it, and I don't want to do the same thing.

I've always though that they should be very tight to make sure they seal, but apparently I was wrong. Very wrong.

i think it should be just snug. back in the dark ages i helped a guy that had a aa/fd. with a 392 hemi, my most favorite engine. we used a speed wrench to take out and put in the 14 mm spark plugs, just snugged it with the speed wrench. then go and run 200 mph.

Are you using a screwdriver type tool or a T-handle? Using a screwdriver tool will seem tighter, about as tight as you can. With a T-handle you would only be light snug.

Ok, thanks alot guys. Just found out that my new engine was shipped today, can't wait to get it broken in. The .32 was nice, but seemed to be lacking in power, so I think the 454 will be alot of fun!
