glow plug o-ring

I'm just wondering about the glow plugs o-ring.I'm thinking that my glow plug's o-ring is damaged because it turned kinda line a cone and the oring is not a circle but an oval.Could this be the reason why my nitro rc car won't start?

Unless you are experiencing a serious loss of compression, that O-ring wouldn't be the problem. It's a soft copper, and it's meant to compress.
