to test if the glow plug and the igniter work, do i have to take the glow plug OFF the engine and put the igniter in it to see if it glows???

or what???

I'm so confused b/c i tried everything and my engine will not start !!! :opps: :opps: :opps: :opps: :opps: :opps: :opps: :opps:

Yeah to test the glow plug you have to take it out the mill and put it into the ignitor. If it is good it will glow a bright red or orange how ever you look at it.

Whoa dude slow down. Use the search button, you are asking the most basic questions that have been asked and answered a hundred times here. You also have three or four threads all going the same direction..."how do I start my mill" Stick with one thread untill you solve your starting issues.

i only started new threads b/c when ppl see threads that already have a lot of replies, they assume that the ppl answered the question already so they dont bother looking.

When someone sees a thread w/ no replies they check it a lot faster, u understand what I'm saying?

Actually no, and...

Easy there killa.... This forum doesn't work like that... Multiple threads with the same agenda will just piss people off... We have a great group of guys here, with a ton of knowledge that will be more than happy to walk you through it...

actually alot of the times people wont reply to these basic questions simply because of the fact that its been covered hundreds of times and the user should use the search function.

But yeah to answer your question, yes, take out the glow plug and hold it to the ignitor. If it glows bright, its all good. Partial glow, chances are your plugs on its last leg. doesn't glow, you either got a bad plug or the ignitor battery is dead.
