Glow plug 101/Glow plug help

Can anyone tell me about glow plugs? I know there are medium and hot and all these different numbers. Can I run a plug that will make my engine run cooler? Thank you.

a nitro motor must reach a minimum temperature in order to get clean combustion of nitro fuel.sorry I dont know what that.i would sy unlikely a gp will drop the temp low enough to notice
