does it matter what battery goes in it? like a c-cell or something. any help is apreciated. thanx

yes, rechargable is prefered, the larger the Mah rating the better. though alkaline will work, they dont last long, and they must be new.

yes the i just need an alkaline for now until i can get to the rc shop. do you know what size i would need?

nope, different ignitors take different size batteries. the only one that is rechargable specific, is a sub-c cell ignitor.
