Hello,

I have a Older Airtronics CS2P FM radio in my Inferno sport. Approx. 28 runs with that radio in the car and no problems, car did bottom out a few times on tracks larger jump. The radio now seems to glitch (usually full throttle and steering twitches) at times when the throttle is being applied. The throttle servo is a Airtronics 94102. Any ideas? or time for a new radio?

Thanks,

Headslap

I'd first check for any unusual metal-to-metal contact. I'm guessing the increase in vibration during throttle application is causing a few things to rub. Metal-to-metal is notorious for causing RF interference and ultimately glitching. And you may want to check your rx to make sure the antenna wire is ok. And your crystals to make sure they aren't starting to fry. And make sure your tx and rx batteries are good.

Candyman,

How do I check my crystals? I might have adjusted my throttle end point at idle too tight agaisnt the carb, could that also cause a interference problem due to vibration. Thanks for your help.
