Ran out a pretty steady stream for about 25-30 seconds or so...I moved it from on the floor under my bench to antop of it in front of a window too...

I didn't know water based paints stuck to lexan. or is polycab paint water based?

You need to do that regularly. The water build up inside the tank will cause the tank to rust from the inside out where you won't see it. Then as pressure builds up, you can wind up with a dangerous compressor.

I open the bleeder valve as soon as I'm done. I might not run the compressor for a couple of months, but I leave it open so it can dry out on the inside.

Dang.

I have never opened the valve on my compressor and I've had it for about 5 years.

I know what I will be doing when I get home this afternoon....forgetting about it and walking right by my compressor into the house for the couch. LOL

I best write myself a note to git er done.

If I did that, I would turn it on and walk away for the tank to fill up. When I came back and it's still running, I would spend an hour trying to figure out WTF was going on.
