I will be a newbie nitro racer this year at a local track. I have spent the winter compiling some of the equipment I wanted to start with, RC10GT, JR xs3 radio and servos, and a Proline body. I have been looking into a few other things and looking for advice as to which way to go. I want to enjoy racing and dont want to spend a fortune, but also dont want to buy garbage and am willing to spend the necessary money to have decent equipment. My thoughts were the following:
1) Tiger drive - good or bad?
2) What should I look for in an Rx battery pack (cell numbers, company, etc)?
3) Temp guage?
4) I have heard the factory glow plug ignitor is garbage, any suggestions?
Thank you.
