micro 1/18th how fun are these? and does anyone know like a website were I could find them?

I have a couple of 18th scale models. They are loads of fun out of the box. I've been playing with my RC-18t for almost 18 months and it's just great. The other plus for the critters is that there are a lot of aftermarket upgrades and they are really cheap. You can find them on most hobby sites like Tower Hobbies or Hobbytown USA.

 my 18t went at least 20 mph before the ESC crapped out on me. I'm buying Heartbreak's stocker ESC when I get the cash... but for now it's a shelf queen. I'm painting up a body for it right now while I'm waiting.

yea i imagine there really fun and you can like do alot of things to it if you wanna like tweak them out i would like to have a used one and just mess around with it like customize

Yep. You'd be surprised how many people sell upgrades and accessories for the RC18 series. If I had to recommend one I'd go for the RC18t or mt any day. If you want a more race-like rig you can go for the buggy version but it doesn't look as fun to me.

ahha sounds cool Iam looking at something to modify and mess with not really race or compete

Yep. There are alot of 1/18 scale hopups out there not specifically made for the 18t but they will fit. Such as mamba brushless systems. That damn thing will fly with a BL setup.

I wanted to buy an XRAY M18, but I got a buggy instead. But still, people like it right out the box. Or, you can get the NT18.

The only problem with the X-Ray is stuff is that it is verry expensive. I have a 1/8th scale buggy and the parts seem to be about 50% more expensive, but I'll also say that you get what you pay for.

I have an M18 and it's a REALLY nice mini car. I have loads of hop-ups on mine too but right out of the box the quality is superb. I imagine the truck version is just as nice and as durable as an RC18

I have an m18 and a few RC18MTs...both kick ass but the M18 sits way too low to run on an average street....especially since I got a CF penguin chassis for it....
