Unfortunately the LHS I know about here has squat for a selection so i'd probably have to order from tower or something. Not much to actually go check out and get the feel of that's why I want cheap above anything. THat way if I don't like it i'm not out much.

What hobby shop are you going to? I live in Xenia and go to "The Hobby Shop". Its at 725 &741 by the Dayton Mall, they have a pretty decent selection. Be careful who you talk to, several of the guys don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

I never said they were good for bashing with. I've stated before that I thought they were boring to bash with. But would be fun to race. They are one of the best stadium trucks on the market, but to me ST (If not raced) are boring as hell. You can still bash with it, and you might think its fun, but to me, Esp. after having my savage, think its boring. Everyones different though.

The one on Harshman by Stebbins School is the only one I know of.

well u can go fiddlesticks yourself and your burnen smartech u basterd

Next time you decide to post this type of post, DON'T. Everyone has an opinion as well. You need to accept it whether you like it or not. If you like Smartech thats fine, but if you are going to let someone piss you off to the point where you want to lash out then do it via PM. This is not the FFA or even in General Chaos forum.

If you have a problem with this PM me and we can discuss it further.

You're in trouble now. Jon is flexing his third leg mod muscles! LOL
The third leg is the secret weapon. Ever seen White chicks? REmember the whole tutorial one of the Wayans Brothers gave to to the girls on some skills with men? Damn I laugh just thinking of it...

I agree with you. My xxx-nt just couldn't pretend to take on half the stuff my savage or buggy can. Although, it held its own with my t-maxx.

Maybe a RC-10 with RPM arms, lunsford pins/turnbuckles and alumunum axle hubs. Then it could take some abuse. But my poor losi would see a bump and snap an arm or carrier just to avoid hitting the bump!

Hey, I just dont see why buggies are good to bash with. I know that they are 4wd and they would have a lot of in air control, but they barely have any ground clearance. I mean, if you were in the air about 5-10 feet off the ground. On the landing, wouldnt you bottom out?

Yes, they do, but they handle it well. They are designed to bottom out. Granted, within moderation. A 20 foot drop has a tendency to break almost anything. But coming down from 5 feet or so they can handle all day long as long as you land relatively flat.

I love my buggy, but I keep getting crap caught in the rims and it locks them up. Which is why I want to put MT tires/rims on mine.

Sure they would but wouldn't really matter in the dirt. If you were bashing on asphalt, then that's a different story. Buggies will slide before a roll over because they're slungway low to the ground. MT's on the otherhand will roll over. MT's are slower but take a beating. Buggies are faster and are more maneuverable.

It all depends on your preference. if I was bashing on asphalt, that's what my onroads are for. If I want to take it to the dirt, then the buggy or my brother's Savage comes out. If these r/c's were used for what they were designed for, then ground clearance wouldn't be an issue/ Well, for on-road it's always an issue since performance is affected with ground clearance.

yea. I am just going to try out my new RC10GT before I think about getting something different...

Yeah, they don't have much of a selection there. Try "The Hobby Shop" or there's a Hobbytown at Crosspoint center (725 & rt 48 in Centerville)

I'll have to try those. I'm in need of some TC3 parts anyway. Maybe I'll check out the nitro stuff while i'm there.

hehe, diver hasnt had his buggy out yet. they traction roll on pavement like nobodies buisness. even on a dirt track they traction roll if you set it up to grip like a mofo. you have to dial out a lot of the droop to get it to slide on pavement. once you do that though, watch out, they tear it up pretty good.

I know that. I was comparing them to MT's. Shoot, on-roads traction roll too. Don't make me hurt my pimp hand by slapping you with it! :boxing:

yup, here at rcnt, we can derail a thread quicker than someone can say, "come over and say that to my face" :D
