Lessen said:If I can butt in for a second... why do they say they require NiCd's only? my Futaba digi's say the same but I've been using a NiMh pack for quite some time.. Is this bad?

psunitro said:The servo may draw more than those AA's can put out for long. The life of the AA's may be greatly reduced. The Rx pack(rechargeable) is the ONLY way to go!
CorradoPsi said:basically the servo requires a high amp draw and may not function correctly with improper power sources. they require a rechargeable because they have the proper output. nimh and lipo will both work if they have a high enough MAH rating which directly relates to its possible power output. a 5 cell nimh pack should have at least 1000mah to use that servo, and 2 cell lipo about 800mah with a required voltage regulator. a 5 cell nicad pack with a rating of 650ish or higher should work as well.
