Is the factory esc a 2-in-1 rx/esc type? you may need a new receiver. I have never seen a connector like that with the 3-wire xt60 looking thing, kinda cool. Your battery now plugs into the furitek IC(3?) connector.

Hey, I run the Scorpion in my Granite and Mojave. I love it. Excellent motor and the Fury App is fun to play around with and tweak the parameters.
FYI -You will have to ditch the stock 2 in 1. It will absolutely not work with the Scorpion set up. You will need to run a separate receiver
If you have any specific questions about set up let me know.

Here is a photo of my set up in the mojave if that helps. I am using a Fly Sky receiver with a Noble NB4+

Just for fun. this is my Losi NASCAR set up. Running a 4700kv motor with a Castle ESC on 3S. Bumped the stock pinion to 22T and the car easily runs over 50mph. Strictly in my opinion you need to run a gyro on something like the NASCAR if you go brushless. It was designed to go 20mph and when you double or even triple the speed, the car become almost unmanageable without the aid of a gyro

So where does the fan hook up the new receiver ? I see you have a bec to the servo , is that so u can use the stock servo or did u upgrade the servo , thanks so much ! I’ll prolly get back to u on the app n stuff I would probably just hook up to my spectrum radio

The fan can plug into any open port of the receiver. I typically use four channel receivers on my small cars, so I plug the fan into channel 3, since 1 & 2 are steering/throttle. I use the NSDRC RS100 in my NASCAR and Mojave but I kept the stock servo in the Granite. I don't use a BEC since both the Castle and Furitek ESCs can power those small servos at 7.4 volts with no issues - not sure what you are referencing regarding the BEC?

Ya , I’ll get the receiver oh I see it’s an insulated connection that I thought was a bec thanx ! Big help so I’m good with the stock servo then ?

Stock servo works fine in the NASCAR. Really no need to replace it unless you are looking for more speed/torque.

this thought just popped into my thick skull...only a recommendation but if you run the stock servo you should keep it at the lowest voltage possible when you start tweaking the Furitek ESC. I don't know what the servo is rated for but you may fry it if you run it at 7.4v

O. K , so servo in the new receiver , fan in the new receiver , esc signal wire goes in battery Slot ? Or channel 1or2

As with all surface receivers the steering servo plugs into channel 1, and the ESC plugs into channel 2. Good way to remember is 1 to turn, 2 to burn! :)

O. K. I differed that just wanted to be sure , fire ain’t fun , thanx for your help !!👍

The way I always remember it is to plug them in backwards to the way that makes the most sense 🤪

I put the GoupRC coreless servo in the Losi Nascar and it's really nice. It makes the gyro work a lot better with the increased servo speed. The GoupRC coreless comes with the best servo horn I've found for the groms, bolts right up. I find the saver entirely pointless on the nascar, 1kg car on 9kg servo won't be breaking anything unless you ram full throttle into brick wall.

Price? Looks real nice.
