Funny story

My best friends cousin (Also his neighbor) had boughten a brand new T-Maxx a few months ago. He was out in a gravel pit with it, and the filter ended up falling off insidde his lid without knowing it and he ended up popping the 2.5 mill. Knowing I'm into it he gave me a call and asked me what I thought he should do. He was leaning towards the exchange program (He had a $100 to spend) so I ended up talking him into getting a O.s. 18 Cv-rx for in it. So after doing the break in with him he thought hed bring it into town and rip around with it. Being it was 3 degrees out, and I need a One way for my savy, I passed. About a half hour later he pulls back into my driveway and shows me his distruction. The whole front bulk was hanging off, A-arms were all busted, front body posts were gone, front skid was missing, His dogbones were missing, his drive shafts were missing, his tranny had a huge crack in it and was all twisted and he broke a bunch of fins off his new mill, and a few other stuff I couldnt see (It was dark). When I asked him what happened he told me "I was driving in my truck (Down main street in the town I live in) with the controller out the window, and was following my T-Maxx, when all of a sudden it veared off wide open and hit a telephone pole". So he pulled over and there was fuel all over. So he tried to pick up all the parts and leave because there was a cop coming towards him. Ill see if I can get him to snap some pics..it was pretty funny, yet I felt bad for him cuz he saved for like a month for the mill. Anyway thought Id share, I thought it was kinda funny.

Yeah I had to snicker. Driving his truck, while driving his Rc as well.. he just got his license maybe 2 months ago and has one accident and 2 speeding tickets, so I think driving his Rc is the last thing he should think about when hes driving..lol..

Wow! No offense, but does your friend even have a clue as to how stupid this all sounds in print? I hope he has his license suspended soon just to keep him off the road for awhile and hopefully noone gets killed before then!

Story is funny, though. I kinda feel bad for him since he basically totalled his Maxx. Well, now's the time to upgrade all those parts!

I saw a video of a t-maxx trying to take out a computer monitor. after a few tries, the maxx was not in shape to run. The monitor was still ok.

hes not my friend more of a associate..lol.. Hes my best friends cousin. He's 16 and has done some of the stupidest things I've ever heard a person doing. So this didnt suprise me to much. Yeah I kinda feel sorry for him as well, but he was asking for it.

I smashed my Maxx like that one time, or maybe two. Once into a 6" concrete curb, and once into a tree, but neither time with the radio out the window of a moving car, and there was no cops. OK OK, I guess it doesn't make a very good story.
