Had another great track day with
@DavidB1126 today. This time we went to Scope (backyard fun track) and just kinda fooled around with the RCs. I only had the Slash MM and Typhon 6S but I used them to the fullest.
I was given a set of China race tires by David’s buddy (thx Patrick!) and they helped a ton over the stock DBoots tires.
The pits were pretty packed but I managed to make it.
Track layout was pretty great.
Typhon looks smokin hot on race tires.
Slash MM performed pretty rough….. the mid motor is amazing on high grip but add that with some bad suspension tuning and it wasn’t great.
Me and David had matching buggies which was fun.
Drivers stand was plenty high to see the whole track.
^me and David’s Typhons.
^ There were 4 total Typhons, here are 3 of them:
View of the track leaving.
Hope to come back soon! David is the master of bending metal. Chassis, shock towers, and probably other stuff we didn’t see, got totaled. Poor Typhon. Brings me memories of the chassis he bent on my car

(all good David I just can’t leave well enough alone)
Hopefully will return with a faster Typhon and better skills.
We’ll see how long it takes me to make the trek up to Maryland again.
