  1. Bashing
I went bashing with my dad today. We went this field by my house,It has HUGE hills the hills are about 25-30 feet high.My T ran very nicely. My dad fliped his as he was climbing the hill and it tumbled down the hill (he was about 5 feet from the top when it fliped). He ended up breaking a lower a-arm.I Managed to strip a spur gear on my t-maxx and thats it.It was a nice day today it was about 60ºF out side.Had to run it cuz its supposed to rain here ALL weekend till monday or tuesday !! Just thought i'd share this.Oh Ya and Does anyone know how much a RRP steelspur gear is ?? Do i have to order them off the internet or should my LHS have them ??:normal:

Your LHS should be able to get you the steel gear. I use the RRP double slipper disc setup with a plastic outer ring.

That great you had a good day of running. And not a 100 bucks in repairs......

Kind of makes you want to rethink the whole helo thing don't it.

Sounds like you had a blast. If you are going to go steel, get the RRP slipper disk set up and the "vented" spur that Çh®i§tiªñ mentioned. It is lighter and runs smoother. I use the same set up with a steel ring and it runs great with my Fantom.

As far as where to get it, any quality LHS should be able to get it for you.

Here's RRP's site. The spur set up we are referring to is right in the middle of the opening image (looks kind of like a biohazard symbol). Use the information from that site to check your LHS or order on line.

BTW, if you do go steel, make sure you get the mesh set just right...otherwise you'll end up stripping more than just a spur gear...
