Not what is a fuel tank...
But
ascc7719.jpg

what is the thing in the middle of the fuel tank... doesn't seem to do anything? doesn't push in, doesn't let air out as far as i can tell.... so what is it and what does it do

It's the pressure nipple. You hook a piece of fuel line from your exhaust pipe to that nipple. The pressure from the exhaust forces the fuel out the other nipple.

i think he is talking about the bit under the spring in the pic, it looks like a second line out nipple. maby that is where they fill the mold...

that tank has three nipples! :gulp:

freak tank...

definitely nothing is going in or out of that hole, and it goes into about 1/2 way down the tank, but looks as if maybe a fuel line goes on it?

Could it be for putting the other end of the fuel line in , as in off the engine when its not in use? do you think

possible... but i normaly loop it back the the pressure nipple. maby they use tha same tank for multiple cars, and its an alternate fuel pickup point.

Easy answer; that is the newer rendition of the RC10GT tank/NTC3 tank. The reason for the third nipple isn't inbreeding; it's simply because that is the location of the old pressure tap.

The fuel pickup used to be on the opposite side of the tank, below the lid on the engine side.
