fuel problems

i suspect its air in the line but after a couple of laps it will cut out but keep rolling. when i start it again it needs a subtantual amount of priming can any one help me

what car, what engine, how old is the engine, have you checked your tuning, how old is the fuel your using , have you checked the fuel lines for holes or other damage ?
