lately I've been havin trouble with my xxx-nt (the basher) it seems as though when i put fuel in the tank the fuel gets sucked into the pressure line rather than the fuel line when i try to start it up... i am also getting bubbles in the fuel line when i can seem to prime it and get it running, and after a quick rpm drop the engine tends to stall out, the fuel prob in the pressure line is so bad that at times it will drain into the pipe and when i tilt the car sideways it drops out a decent amount of fuel... does any one know what is happining??? what can i do to fix this?

I was having the same problem. I found out (way later) that the nipple on my plastic tank was cracked, but not broken. So when i tryed to tune or run the car I just couldn't get it right.

I would tune it rich, and when it took off I would be lean. So I would lean it to normal, and when I took off it would go way way lean.

Pressures were all funny, ad I got bubbles in the line too. Anywas One day I pull the pull starter, and the line shoots in the air.

Morale of the story.. If you have any air bubbles in the line that goes to the carb, you have an air leak. Take off all your hoses, and bend them, looking for cracks that open and show them selves.
Prolly an air leak.

Are you using the new or old style tank the new one has the pressure line in the lid,the old is on the tank itself.I changed to the new one and have had no problem w/ the fuel in the pressure line since.

i suppose i have the old one then, where can i find a new generation tank at???

They have the same part # so you would need to see it before you buy it. I found mine on ebay and emailed the seller to confirmed that it had the pressure fitting in the lid. Try your LHS or keep your eye out for one on ebay.
