I was running Traxxas 20% and at my local track a couple racers made the comment that there surprised my engine runs well on that stuff or my motors not going to last as long on that stuff. I have run O'donnels and white lightning in the past and dont see much of a diff. except the smell and the price. What do you guys think?

I run the trinity stuff. I've run pretty much everything except the Byrons, and it just tunes easier.

As for cost, unless your shop is tryin to push traxxas fuel, the cost should all be right about the same.

Byrons is the Shitznit if you ask me. And totlly agree with Jet!

What mill are you running?

Top Fuel is not a "cheap" low end fuel. If you mill runs well, holds a tune, does not overheat, and has decent power, I really dont see a need to change. Its not just the brand, but what blend, oil/nitro. I have never run Top Fuel. I have used Trinity Platinum 20 and 30%, Monster HP 25%,White Lightning 20%,the BLUE junk 20% and TQ 30%. The only one I didnt like was the WL. It was just a pain to tune on my Traxxas 2.5. The 2.5 liked the MHP 25% the best, for me.
In my Big Blocks, The Trinity stuff does well, and the TQ fuel was great.

Byrons seems to be a good choice too, have not heard a bad thing about it.

Do you race and bash? If both, if you like what you have, stick with it. if you just race, moving up to 30%(with less oil content) or even Top Fuel 33% would be a good choice.

I have a rdical 621- and rb c6 bb. THe Traxxas is 19.99 and the O'donnell is like 35. THats a big difference and I don't really notice any power difference. Maybe the O'donnell warms up a little faster.

personally, I run with Wildcat fuels. They are obviously doing a wonderful job, because Trinity has their fuel brewed by them.

Just because they are made by the same company, does not mean they are the same fuel. Maybe the quality control is the same?
