getting ready to buy my savage ss kit and would like some input on the best fuel to get for it

dont really have a local hobby shop so would probably have to order it but wanna know whats best

I buy Blue thunder 20% for my rc10gt and my Monster mt, but that is only because all of the hobbyshops around here carry it. If your looking for performance i would agree with monzaman and buy odonnell. I have ran both and i personaly think the odonnell is better.

O' Donnell's 20% is good, my LHS doesn't carry it though. I used Blue Thunder 20% in my NTC3, and I used Top Fuel 20% on my MTX-3.

I would really consider checking to see what the nearest LHS carries, that way you can still order it, but when you're getting ready the night before that huge bash that you've been planning for a year and realize that you're almost out of fuel, you can go pick it up locally instead of waiting a week for it to arrive.

true but my "local" hobby shop so to speak is about 65 miles away, yeah i know i live in middle of nowere theres is one kinda close but they are more into selling trains and models, not much r/c stuff

sucks as id pretty much have to order it, :constipat

if i buy a few quart bottles will they stay fresh as long as they are sealed?

I think they will stay fresh if they're sealed, and you make sure and keep them in a climate controlled environment. If they are subject to temp changes like being stored outside, when it's warm in the day and cool at night, the bottles or cans will "sweat" or build condensation and the alcohol absorbs the moisture, which is REALLY bad for your engine. Some veterans will chime in though and can give you better information.
