I accidentally overcharged a brand new receiver pack... the first charge. I forgot I had it plugged in. My charger doesn't shut itself off.

The cells didn't vent out, but the pack got hot to the touch, by hot, I mean couldn't touch it for more than 5 seconds without pain. It's a 1400Mah 2/3 A pack.

I've let it cool and I've recharged it. It doesn't appear to peak as high as my other intelect 1400Mah pack (6.5V vs. 7.1V), but it does appear to hold a charge. Is there anything I can do to help it not die? Or is it dead?

Thanks guys.

Also, does anyone know what voltage output is coming out of a charger when charging a receiver pack? I'm looking for the no-load voltage.

Same thing kinda happend to me last week. I had my Rx pack charging at around 1.2/1.3 and it went to trickle charge after like 15 minutes.. I didn't notice that my little one had turned the dial all the way up... eek! I was REALLY hot! I'll have to see what happens I suppose
