Change out your spur gear for a kevlar gear...

If/when you start breaking a-arms, replace them with EA3 or graphite parts. The rtr plastic has an unbelievable amount of flex to it. The little connecting link from the steering servo to the steering rack should be replaced, as well as the bushings in the steering rack, I also put in an aluminum STRC steering post kit, it takes the flex out, and the steering is much better after that.


What did you use to replace the link to the rack, and any certain bushings you used.

Bearings in place of the bushings. I can't remember the size, but Losi wants $20 for four, and Avid has them for $1 each.

For the link, I took two ballcups and cut the head off a screw, thread them together to where you need them. If you do it just right, they are tight together and offer no flex.

Get the Avid bearings, and while you're at it you can order any other bearings you need for cheap.
