Here is the run-down on the rig pictured below.. It started (trx4m) as a project to see if I could go 'frameless' on the rear of an Injora lcg aluminum frame. So I cut the frame at the rear of the cab then fabricated and rotated the leftover pieces 90* to be able to still use the cab with the factory front clip. Once clipped, the body can not come off until it is unclipped. I used a piece of aluminum to fill in the huge cutout on the rear of the cab and drilled 2 'slots' to secure the rear of the cab to the new frame design. (See pics) I have two battery position options, with one being upfront and the other being behind the motor. The wheelbase has a mild stretch with High Trail links..it still has sufficient flex with Injora 53m shocks up front and 59m in the back. Defender snorkel cut and shaved to fit the IR40 body and a modified Injora hitch on the rear axle. Injora motor, trans, driveshafts, shocks, 11kg servo, links, skid along with the original trx4m electronics and remote.
