Dammit what's next the asbestos sandwich's????
Hey. Asbestos was good enough for me growing up, it'll be good enough for my kids, dammit!
And on a side note: Considering our recent track record with the quality of goods imported from China, don't you think we really need to rethink our (very lopsided and wide open) trade agreement with them?

I went to school, even attended movies in a theater, with plenty of asbestos, and I turned out alright.......

LOL, thanks. It hasn't affected my thinking ability all that much... Cept when it comes to numbers. I can't remember if 2 comes after 9 or before 1.

Back to topic,after reading this THANK YOU for this post,I dont watch the new very often to depressing. I knew nothing of this and my son had some items here at home that was very close to some items on the list, they are quarintened until a "for sure not going to be added to list" Now we just have to check granny and grandaddys.Thanks again.

Ah you know guys its a proven fact that the stuff is DANGEROUS and MAY cause brain damage... Now you may take the chance knowingly. Not me My childeren. thats like letting them play with matches its STUPID...yeah your chances are small I give you that but why in the hell would you even joke about that kinda stuff.. My Grandfather possibly died of mesothelioma...caused by Asbestos working in the naval yards after WWII. so No I dont think your smart or even funny.....JMO

See, this is exactly why I taught my daughter to play with knives and my loaded 9mm! She's almost old enough to play with the .40 and the .45 which will add to her toy collection. geeesh

Yeah, and none of us are dain bramaged. We also had the joy of playing with matches. The big wooden ones that would strike on anything.
It's really kind of sad to think what the current crop of kids are missing.

+1 on that one...I work at a gun shop/range...they shoot better then most adults

For the record,I'm totally with you! Since becoming a parent my outlook at life & the world has totaly changed, I'm just hoping there is enough left in human resources to continue with change! I am a smoker as was my mother & father,mom died, dad had to quit because of emphezema. But 30 years ago it was perfectly SAFE to consume tobacco. The phillip morris adds are funny but at the same time they are NOT. They are real and so is global warming,and a host of other things, we once thaught nothing of, but is killing our loved ones and our youths future! Just because nobody here has been directly effected by this. doesn't make it funny,let some of the ha ha's have something like this recall effect someone close to them and I bet it wouldnt be so funny anymore!
