If any of you subscribe or have picked up the May 15th Sports Illustrated, check out page 35. There's a quick blurb on Ben Wallace and his collection of 120 R/C cars! It has a cool picture of him and some of his rides as well.

I'm trying to find a link to post as well, but if you happen to have this issue, check it out!

hey i did find some stuff but not much though. i also saw on another forum some people talking about the same thing. one guy said hes seen him on some r/c tracks racing along with other people when he is home not playing ball. this is what i found though.

Detroit's Ben Wallace said he has been collecting radio-controlled cars since his rookie season in 1996-97. The 6-9 center from Virginia Union told SI.com that he has 120 of the cars, which he assembles.

"It helps me relax," said Wallace, 31, who recently became the first player to win the defensive-player-of-the-year award four times in a five-year span. "You can't have any distractions. It's a nice way to unwind, especially during the playoffs."

Wallace races his two-foot cars, which can cost up to $1,000 each, against other hobbyists at a track near his off-season home in Richmond. He also takes on his 3-year-old son and the neighborhood kids.

"We get in my driveway and go around a little bit," Wallace said. "I always win." - Los Angeles Times
