For Sale...Pet Squirrel

OK I have this cat who is quite the hunter, brings all kinds of live animals into the house thru the cat door. He has to bring them inside, torture them, and leave me a mess.
So far this week
5 lizards
2 baby rabbits
And my current problem a full grown squirrel, which is inbetween my kitchen cabinets and the wall. A spot just big enough for a squirrel to squeeze in and be totally inaccessible. There is no way for me to get him out, I have to wait it out and it has been hourts already! This thing dies in there I'm screwed!
For those of you who have never tangled with a squirrel, they'll bite the poop out of you! I am not reaching in there for him! It was kinda funny at first but now i am starting to worry. Anybody have an idea?
BTW My cat just graduated to outdoor only status!:surrender

Go to your local animal control or adoption center. They will provide you with a 'Have-a-Heart' trap, usually at no charge.
Smear a small piece of white bread with peanut butter and press the buttered side against the trigger paddle. Set it up where he will walk into it voluntarily, not as a trap at the end of his access point.
Leave a dim light on in the kitchen.
You'll know when you get him.
Carry him outside and set him loose. Return the trap, and donate the cat to the shelter.

End of problem.

I had to take the wood trim off, poor squirrel is scared to death. I can touch him, but not grab him. He will not budge, he's hiding in the corner hoping no one can see him. He's playing dead or just plain scared to death. He won't budge, even when I poke him. He's still breathing and I think he cussed at me once or twice.
The cat can't reach him either.:LoL:
I may have to do the animal control thing, although I doubt they will be much help. The cat is grounded!

Make a catch pole there easy enough to make. Just use part of a fishing pole. Loop the line off the end drop it over his head pull the loop tite then hold on and have the door open so you can get him out before he gets smart and chews the line off. And dont forget the to have the cam running so we get to see it all

In all reality, have a couple beers with the friends, get a long stick and start poking. Have one of the friends record whats going on with a camera. Have the other friend with a bb gun at the ready, and another with a bat. Should make for a AFV Decade winner!

He's out! I tried to wait him out last night, didn't work. Tried some peanut butter this afternoon, didn't work.
I'm at work now but I just got an e-mail from my wife titled " I did battle with the squirrel...."
It reads;
... and won. Sort of. The kitchen is a wreck, and he's going to be the cats' next snack on the back porch, but I can't help what happens to him from now on. I got him out of the house and now I can rest.

Might have been in a fight over it too. She hates to see any little critter like that suffer. Had a rat in the garage once. She saw it after the d-con started taking effect. She didn't want him in there, but it bothered her to see him like that.
