Pro bikes are soooooo nicely taken care of, but i can't afford 23 + k ... thats like.. alot of dough.. I'm happy with my procircuit built crf 250r for now.

I'm sure his suspension setup is the most amazing part of the bike IMO because in sx mx nationals etc.. they all need to have a perfect set up and the DLC coating on his forks alone is worth about 3 k thats not including all the other fittings inside them for the bladders and springs etc. I know for my bike for an ok tune to my weight it was over 300 bucks just to have things adjusted properly, certain oil weight, and diff rear spring. I've always wanted DLC coating i hear its the smoothest of smooth and can help arm pump.

The biggest thing that helped me with arm pump when I rode MX is going to sound silly. But, I always had bikes that had a vicious hit to them (I'm a 2 stroke guy), you know the kind your buddies ride and they come back shaking and pale. :hehe: Oddly enough, I bought a KX 250 that had been set up for hare and hound scrambles. Woods porting and pipe setup, heavy flywheel, etc. It had no definitive "hit" to it at all, it simply pulled like a diesel from hell from idle till the reeds would float on top. Never got arm pump, not once. God I loved that thing.

Also, +1 on suspension, it's THE best money you can spend on a bike mod PERIOD!

Yeah my bike is sort of a yank bike.... i had it fully built by procircuit mechanics and hinson clutch kit with ported head PC piston, rod, cam, valves, springs etc etc.. my main issue is i can't get it through my head to hold on with my legs lol.. my arms do ALL the work so i dont really last long on the track.. Every time i try to remind my self to hold on with my legs i end up sort of sucking at riding because I'm just focusing on trying to hold on another way than what I'm used to.

Yep, that's key too. On the KX, I didn't have to worry about it, as I didn't have that sub conscious urge to death grip the thing like it was trying to kill me. Loose and relaxed = smooth and fast.

i forsome reason can't get it through my head lol. even after riding for about 7 years i still can't do it lol... i just feel like i have more control when i handle the bike with the arms. Arm pump was actually my main reason for not being able to race.. I had my bike built literally almost like a pro's bike... had all the latest gear.. was practicing every single day all day and i mean literally.. when i woke up.. i would load my bike up go to the track and ride till the track was closed and ride near my house because we made a track here too. and no matter how much practice and training i did i just couldnt do it. But yeah I've learned if you can ride with out really thinking like just being able to think about other things then you can ride correctly. and i can do that if i use my arms but if i use my legs suddenly i have to really start thinking about riding and it makes me mess up lol

*EDIT* Also i think another thing that makes me use my arms is that i usually sometimes if i try to relax my arms i feel like its gonna suddenly get speed wobbles and then just wreck witch has happened before like ill have my hands just sort of gently holding on and then i think a rut out of no where just apeared and i lost it.

I would love to see the dyno numbers. My friend just finished is engine stroker build on his 10 crf450r with 53.8 hp.

I'd guess around 60HP or so, if memory serves that's what was rumored from the announcers once. I'm sure there's a dirt bike mag that's tested one somewhere.

I want this if i were to do anything dramatic to my bike [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYiH8DxbLFw"]Honda CRF 450 Turbo - YouTube[/ame]
