% for my redcat

hey guys,

i was just wondering if i could run my redcat tornado s30 on 5% nitro?
i usually runs on 15% but i got given a full bottle of 5% by my mate and i dont want to waste it.

With such a low nitro% you will have to completely retune the powerplant. Because of the lower % it will not burn as hot which is good but it also wont produce the same amount of power it usually does. Myslf if you have to use it than I would mix it with a bottle of your typical 15% and you wont notice ay difference. Just my .02

That sounds more like aircraft fuel. I have never seen 5% nitro car fuel. If it is airplane fuel I would not run it because it is going to be a too high of an oil content and that is just going to gun up the engine. But you can try it...the worst that can happen is it does not work well and you have to go back to your old fuel.

Use a really hot glow plug too.
