ok this is the third time it has happened, my flywheel is coming loose sometimes when i start the car up, why does this happened, its a pain the ass to take the egine off the car, take the shoes off and tighten the flywheel nut again, everytime i do it, i tighten the nut down really good until it can't move, but it seems like it is coming loose, why?

Replace the collet. It has lost its pinch on the shaft. From the time you first spun it!
But befor you do take some 120 grit and lightly sand the shaft. So the new collet has some grab to it...This is IMO..And what I would do.

EDIT and replace your flywheel

It could be the collet or it could be the fact that the clutch nut that holds the flywheel securely in place is backing off just enough. I'd not only follow Zandor's suggestion, but I'd follow through with a small dab of loctite on the clutch nut to make certain it does not back off.

new question, the clutch shoes are they supposed to have the blue coming off, looks liek they have been rubbing, is that ok?? its on the very tip

???? are they alum. Any way ya there is going to allways be some drag no matter what you do.

Your ok The only time you will get 0 drag...Well I don't think that will happen when the mill is running......When your mill is running the shoes are all ways on the verge of engauging (SP).. your good to go!
