my friend has a flysky gt5 radio that i got for him about a year ago or so for his one crawler. recently, it has the habit of killing the steering on the set models on the radio. like model 1, the steering died and it worked again when i bound the radio to model 2 on the radio. the whole time, the steering trim would still work, but the input from the wheel would not. it just happened again to model 2 on the radio, but it would still transmit enough to make the servo squeak. i bound the radio to model 3 and it is working again, but I'm sure it will happen again. has anyone else experienced this and any idea on how to fix it? could it be the potentiometer shorting out the a board somehow? i dont know what could be causing this.

i have had a similar issue, mine will bind the other cars to other channels, i just dont have any steering with them, i have to drive them all on #1 and adjust the trim each time based on the car/truck I'm driving, its weird, can you make a video of the issue? so i can see if we got same problem?

it sounds similar, except this issue is on the same truck, but model's one and two on the radio are dead, and the others all work. models one and two will however allow the steering trim to function. its a very weird issue. I'm thinking its the printed circuit board, maybe a chip on there is failing on mine.

Are you sure it's the radio and not the servo?

It sounds like simething flaky with the radio, but you never know.

yes. i did a re-bind to model 3 and everything works on it. i bound it to another receiver on another truck, same thing, both models 1 and 2 dead, but 3 works. it has to be the radio.

this has fixed it. i didnt think it could be something so stupid simple.... now to reset the endpoints on his shift servo and dig servo.... thanks for the help!
how did you reset it?
