hi guys just put this transmitter on my savage, set as instrutions but after about 15ft the car comes to a stop and i have to walk towards it to get the transmitter to pick up the car again, asny ideas please.

If you just got that radio look in to getting the firmware modified. If you need info on it pm me. you will be much happier with the hacked FW. but yea check your antenna, and also the RX that comes with the gt3bs have had issues on quality control where the antenna wasn't soldered properly, and they experienced the same thing you are seeing now.

If nothing else fixes it open it up and see that all the soldered parts are done right. You might be able to get it replaced by the vendor, but as far as a waaranty, they are from china, I'm not sure how that will work

a new rx is only $8 I do have an extra one, if you can't get yours to work we can see if you want to work something out, maybe we can split shipping or something.

knock on wood i havent had any problems with any of my receivers, i am however thinking of going to another setup, either a ko propo or an airtronics. I lust over the new m12 but can't see spending more on a tx/rx than i did any of my race rigs.....lol

You need to box up the whole thing and send it back to them and tell them to give you a new one. You should not have to try to figure out what is wrong with it. I have 2 of them and I have never had a problem with them at all. I run them on 11 cars, truck, and buggies and never had a problem with any of them.
